Danroy Henry : Murder to Excellence

The father of college footballer Danroy Henry thanks Jay-Z and Kanye West on behalf of his family for bringing attention to the murder of his son in their Watch The Throne track ‘Murder to Excellence’. Danroy Henry was shot and killed by Police Officer Aaron Hess  in October last year in New York. To make matters worse Hess was disgracefully named ‘Officer of the Year’ for his ‘dignity’ and ‘professionalism’ since killing Danroy. I am glad Danroy’s family are fighting for justice in the name of their son. I am also thankful to Jay-Z and Kanye West for using ‘Murder to Excellence’ as a platform to highlight the systematic annihilation of black men in America.
